The theoretical basis of the study are well-known definitions of conflict: it is a contradiction that a person perceives as a significant problem that requires solution and causes activity to overcome it; it is a state (or situation) of conflict between the parties (parties to the conflict) who have incompatible views, goals, etc., due to which each of them acts against the other, uses linguistic and / or non-verbal means. The aim of the research is to single out the qualification features of the concept conflict on the basis of Ukrainian-language, Russian-language and English-language lexicographic discourse.
